I am working on a simple quilt using a Jelly Roll with the Shades of Blue fabric by Moda. The instructions — or recipe — is posted on Moda Bake Shop. It is the Whirly Wheels Quilt. It reminds me of easy pinwheels! Now the big decision: GREEN or ORANGE for the sashing? Thoughts?
The green looks good although surprisingly I think I like the orange a bit better. I don’t usually use much orange myself.
Same here — this was a risk quilt using fabrics that I normally never use! I am leaning towards the orange — however, my mind is changing daily!
both definitely look good, but i like how bright the orange is. it’s really vibrant.
