Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild members spent the night collaborating to make several quilt tops and pillowcases for charity.
I worked on some orphan blocks from Julie of Jaybird Quilts. With the help of Andrew pressing the seams and donated fabric, this quilt top was truly the result of collaboration. With the completed quilt top ready, I will have an opportunity tomorrow to free motion quilt this top with my new stitch regulator on my machine.
After a night of sewing for charity, I am ready to try a new pattern with some of my stash of fabric for charity to make a fun kid’s quilt for a child in need within the community. Kate from Swim Bike Quilt and Aunt Spicy are hosting a wonderful online event to encourage quilters to create a charity quilt. Click on the button below for the details and spread the word.
