Sea Turtles: Take 2

Happy Monday!  This weekend, I finished up my sea turtle project using used McKenna Ryan’s Sea Breeze Pattern.  I attempted applique for the first time.  I created two color variations: pastel and bold colors.  Each 12″ square block was machine quilted and stretched over canvas.  Which version do you like best?

Since this is a more modern design, I am linking up with the Sew Modern Monday Link Up hosted by Canoe Ridge CreationsCheck out other people’s {Sew} Modern Monday links.

  1. Boy, that’s a hard choice. I think I like the bold one better because of the fabric choice you made for the water. They are both fantastic!

  2. Love these little turtles! They are adorable! Thanks for linking up to {Sew} Modern Monday!

  3. I don’t know which I like, they are both amazing. I like McKenna’s work but I’ve never made one myself…..yours is great! Your comment form does not like my website name. If you need it, it’s islandlifequilts.blogspot.com I enjoy visiting your blog 🙂
