Hidden Stars

Over a year ago, I bought a package of 10″ squares of fabric from Kaffe Fassett.  I spent many hours last summer cutting 336 triangles and 168 hexagons.  In the fall, I started the assembly of these hexagon rows.  In the winter, I added borders.  In the spring, I pieced a backing.  Finally, after all four seasons, I quilted and finished the binding of this quilt.  So far, I must say that this may be my favorite quilt!  I named it “Hidden Stars” — as throughout the quilt, there are hidden stars!

I am linking up with Quilt Story’s Fabric Tuesday and Sew & Tell on amylouwho’s blog.
